What's the closest thing you have to a time machine?

I have this little dress that I wore when I was a little version of myself. A MUCH smaller person than now. When I was 2 to 4 years old I went to a school called Mother Allen's Christian Academy and this was my uniform. I'll have to dig it up and take a picture.
Oh, and there's my jacket that I had. I remember it being my favorite for some reason. It was blue and it had a bunch of patchwork, pockets and zippers on it(really little kid's 80's style). That I must find because I'm sure my daughter could fit it now.
Today I helped my friend Jen at her work place at Edgewood to package letters for their many donors and such, was fun.. over 1500 letters were to be sent out. It's a really cool place helping at risk kids and my my the building they work in is soooo great! very historic it was once a Victorian orphanage at one point a great one too! After which I had lunch with Monk( the asian body guard I shot) at that lunch I met a Stylist whose responsible for training models for runway and such.. whoot! he does it for a very good cause, he takes at risk girls and train them to become high fashion models, cool guy lots of link ups too and I may be shooting some of his models... whoot!! urgh got my tickets to a charity fashion show in which Monk will participate, his first runway show. Got to support my friends.. urgh bad thing its on the 2nd of August the day that work will be having the manditory friends and family.. I'll work but I have to leave early.. this show is a great place for me to do some networking for sure...
after that went back to helping at Edgewood and I got a cute bookmark for helping!
and then after that I did a photoshoot.. this was done with one light only as opposed to my usual two.. love the effect!!

They said it couldn't happen, they tried to cancel it, but the MOO Party Is STILL happening this Thursday night at a NEW VENUE!
Yes, just 2 days before our brilliantly planned party, The Ambassador (our previous venue) decided to cancel it. Luckily, you can't keep the MOO Crew down when it comes to a drink with friends, so the our new venue is The Vibe Bar, Brick Lane.
If you're not sure where that is, you're in for a treat. It's a great venue, easily reached from Aldgate East underground station or Liverpool Street tube and rail station. Follow the signs when you get to the venue, and we'll see you there! And Don't get side-tracked by a curry on the way, save it for afters, ok?

Read down to the end and discover that now they can start working on medications for depression that focus on the CAUSE, not on the SYMPTOMS. Really critical.
At Tokyo University, they have figured out how to take the fear of cats out of mice. By switching off a gene, they removed certain nasal cells that the mice use to identify predators, and the altered mice showed absolutely no fear of cats. They even snuggled and played with cats. Check out some great pics of the mouse-kitty interplay here. Super cute.
Okay. So we know that some of our fears are genetically programmed. We're afraid of large carnivorous animals, and we're afraid of things that go bump in the night. But...spiders? Cockroaches? Public speaking? What's that all about?
Let's say that some of our fears are rooted in our genetic makeup. And some have been conditioned into us by our parents, other role models and experiences. Whether our fears are genetic or conditioned, is there a way for us to overcome them?
I believe in the Susan Jeffers "Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway" approach. I am certainly not at the point where I'm applying it 100%, but the awareness of actions born of fear is a huge step. So my focus is now to become very aware of what's driving my behavior. If I see myself choosing to be afraid rather than going forward in courage, I all of a sudden can choose. It's when I'm not aware that I have no choices.
